Hi -
This is comparing oranges and carrots.
GMail is a web-based mail system.
Outlook is a standalone local mail program that requires you to install the Office infrastructure.
You're comparing a service accessible by any sort of mail program to a mail program. You do realize that you can access you GMail account via Outlook, right?
